Introduction

Oman Arab Bank launched its #OABistidama strategy in late 2019, with the aim of implementing sustainable practices in all aspects of its business. This extends beyond social responsibility, and targets all of the bank’s stakeholders. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) plays a salient role in the bank and ensures sustainability for our planet, people, and business. Our sustainability strategy focuses on three main pillars: environmental responsibility, community partnerships, and financial inclusion. This new strategy is also aligned with the objectives of the Oman Vision 2040, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
